In May 2023, Dear Media, a leading female media marketplace, hosted the unforgettable "Dear Media IRL" event in Austin, Texas. The event aimed to blend digital and physical spaces, providing a rich, engaging experience for its over 650 participants. The day was filled with comprehensive panels covering diverse subjects like health & wellness, entrepreneurship, and comedy, featuring popular talents like Lauryn and Michael Bosstick, Whitney Port, Pia Baroncini, and more. With over 45 brand partners participating, highlighting our presenting sponsor CLEARSTEM, attendees had a unique opportunity for brand exploration through over 10 activations (Malk, Lola, BLOOM, Just Thrive, and The Skinny Confidential to name a few). This successful event embodied Dear Media's mission to bring the online community into real-world interactions, facilitating a day of learning, networking, and brand immersion.
My Role: I was primarily responsible for ensuring our contracted campaigns materialized effectively, bringing our brands' unique visions to life. This involved creating captivating sales packages and materials to best represent each brand. Furthermore, I worked closely with the event production company and the content team, harmonizing our efforts to ensure seamless execution. My responsibilities also included overseeing the brand activations and gifting processes, focused on crafting memorable experiences for all attendees. Finally, I provided critical on-site support and hospitality throughout the event, ensuring a smooth and engaging experience for all involved.
